We've a busy week as usual on the Island this week.
I'm meeting Alan McVey from Iron Mountain on Wednesday as well as Catherine Vint from the Information Commissioner's office in Belfast. Thereafter I'm meeting Pamela Wood from the Belfast Education & Library Board which I'm really looking forward to. She's always good craic.
Scott will be meeting with our HR Conference sponsors at the offices of Carson McDowell solicitors on 2 March. Carson McDowell are the legal sponsors of the Northern Ireland HR Conference and will be providing three speakers on employment law issues. The other sponsors are BITC, Parity and Carecall. Our media partners for the conference on 22 April are the Belfast Telegraph.
Scott will also be discussing the Mock Tribunal Hearing event which will take place on 25 March. Orlagh O’Neill, Head of Employment at Carson McDowell, will be the lead facilitator at that event.
Kerry, Jayne and Pamela are attending the Prince’s Trust, Tomorrows Entrepreneurs Conference on Friday morning at the Ramada, Belfast. The event will be facilitated by Mark Simpson, BBC and keynote speaker Karren Brady will inspire and motivate mentors with her session on ‘Motivating Individuals to Achieve their Goals.’
We've a breakfast seminar on this week entitled "Charisma and leadership" delivered by Harry Harpur from Harry the Loop. On Wednesday afternoon Kerry our NI Events Manager is meeting David McComb of Parity & Feargal McCormick of FPM. On Thursday evening she's out Networking Event with Women in Business & BEN
It's Pamela's last day on Friday before going off on maternity leave. We've a lunch for her on Wednesday.
We're also shooting a video this week to show people how to get to our premises from the motorway. Our training centre is being converted into a film studio on Wednesday as a local language teacher comes in to shoot a movie or too for the web.
There we are. Didn't I say we've a busy week ahead?
